CAM KEEVERS ROUND TWO
Mon, 5 Jul 2010
Top step of the podium
at Round 2 for Cam Keevers
&
KRS RACING

Injury free for this round saw Cam dominate all 3 races on Sunday and take the round win putting himself in second position in the championship! Considering the bike was in pieces with no engine just days before this was an excellent result with very little bike practice so far this year.
The results from the weekend are a very good sign that Cam is adapting quickly to his first year in the Superbike class and a natural progression should see him step up the pace in the 3 remaining state rounds this year.
Cam's Comments:
"I really enjoyed the weekend as I had such a good feeling with the bike as soon as I jumped on it. We haven't had a lot of time to test the new engine and suspension out so we pretty much turned up and hoped for the best! I have been training hard with my fitness and will keep doing all the right things so we are in a position to win the championship come the last rounds in September!
A huge thanks to my mechanic Stephan Pesch who worked hard all week to get my bike together, it wouldn't have been possible without him. Thanks also to Andy Offer for supplying some brilliant K TECH suspension. Lastly I would like to thank new sponsor S & K Engineering who have joined the team which is great to see and I look forward to going for more wins with their name on the bike!!
I hope to see you for Round 3 on July 25th!!"
